Jag brukar köpa julklappar som påminner om mig eller mina intressen. Det kan vara något gott att äta eller dricka eller något som används när man äter eller dricker. Det kan också vara kul att köpa något som mottagaren vanligen inte unnar sig. Julklappstips nummer 1. Stekknivar!

Det finns få saker som är så irriterande som slöa stekknivar. När du en gång vant dig vid en riktigt bra kniv är det svårt att tänka sig att man ens sneglat åt andra. Laguiole stekknivar är sådana stekknivar och de är en perfekt julklapp att ge bort. Lyxiga, vassa och när du vant dig vid dem, helt nödvändiga.

Julklappstips 2. Vinglas

Det går bra att dricka vin ur de flesta glas, men ett riktigt bra glas förhöjer nöjet. Det finns många bra glas, mina favoriter återfinns hos Zalto och Riedel. De är förhållandevis dyra men de ger valuta för pengarna, sedan tycker jag att du kan koncentrera dig på något eller par glas. Personligen använder jag mest Zalto universal samt en del av Riedels specialglas. Hos Riedel hittar du också bra glas för öl och whisky.

Julklappstips 3. Vinkaraff

Många viner mår bra av att luftas i en vinkaraff. Det är också ett sätt att presentera vinet på ett snyggt sätt. En snygg karaff fungerar också som en snygg centerpiece på bordet. När det kommer till karaffer finns de flesta former, en del användbara andra mer artistiska. Jag rekommenderar en där du kan få en stor kontaktyta, dvs där vinet får mycket kontakt med luften.

Julklappstips 4. Vin

Här på DryckesListan.se hittar du massor med bra tips på spännande och annorlunda viner. Vi uppmanar dig ofta att prova något nytt och spännande men om du ska ge bort ett vin tycker jag att du ska ta ett som du själv tycker är gott. Ett vin som speglar dig.

Vill du ändå få något tips så kan jag rekommendera mousserande viner som passar så väl till julens fester. Andra viner som jag gärna dricker under julen är olika starkviner,  exempelvis ett portvin eller en madeira. De är utmärkta alternativ istället för glöggen.
